AC/DC Contour Probe
The DA400 Contour Probe is a rugged high performance instrument designed for Magnetic Particle
inspection to accepted Nondestructive testing standards.
Parker Contour Probes are designed with flexible legs that allow the field to be “focused” at a precise
area of inspection. Electronic circuitry contained within the reinforced glass-filled nylon housing
permits selection of a strong constant AC field, or high intensity half wave rectified (DC) field.
Plastic carry cases (PL-Case & C-Case) and Test Kits (PL-A Kit & A Kit) are available. Standard test
kits include 1 lb. each of Red & Gray powder, PB1 powder blower, and carrying case.
